We're half way there!

Chris' intuition was spot on!!! We had the ultrasound on Friday, and the baby was being so modest we couldn't tell for the first 20 minutes or so - they even made me go walk around to help her move a little. Second round was the winner - GIRL!

I'm not really feeling super pregnant... I'm still wearing most of my clothes and I'm not sick anymore (phew!) I have had a few friends tell me they are disappointed I'm not showing more... patience, I'm sure I'll get there! The belly has popped a little. I've been hitting the local spin class twice a week and it's helping me stay happy. These last few dreary weeks of winter are killin me! Bring on the SUNSHINE!!!

Almost half way there!

I don't feel like I have that much to show being almost half way there! Again, just a little chubby around the middle. I think this past week I felt it move! I've heard it described as a flutter, but I would describe it more like a faint involuntary muscle twitch deep in your lower stomach... it's not consistent and I've only noticed it a few times while driving home. It's pretty amazing to think about what you are feeling.

We will be 18 weeks along in a few days! I feel like my energy is finally back at a level that I can be semi functional when I get home from work. (ie doing the dishes, laundry and/or cooking) I've been back to the gym and my food habits have leveled off from strangeness. (Although my favorite dinner these days is asparagus and popcorn - call me crazy!)

Our gender revealing ultrasound is on the 20th - we will keep you posted on what we discover!!!
