About a month ago we added a colorful piece to Piper's crib...
At first she paid closer attention to StarFriend than she did me or Chris... and quite honestly I got a little jealous ;)
Piper is official!
We jumped at the opportunity to bless Piper with practically all the fam in town. Chris' father was released from his call as a bishop to spend more time with his sweet wife. All of Chris' sibs came to town for the occasion and it was a wonderful meeting. After the meeting we planned to bless Piper at the "Hotel Carlston" a decidedly more intimate setting and less travel for the Mother in law. It was a sweet blessing, Chris did a wonderful job!
The dress the she was blessed in was infact the dress that I was blessed in. It was a dress my Grandma Bloomfield made from left over fabric from my Mom's wedding dress. Nothing fancy, but very meaningful.
Thanks Hotel Carlston for putting on such a great party for such a little person! The decor was so much fun!!!
I've decided that you can't do churchy things in an unordinary setting without offending someone... For those who weren't informed or invited to the occasion hopefully these pics will help. I'm really glad my Dad could take time off of work and fly in for the weekend - it meant a lot!!!
